Staged Script Reading & Fundraiser
Tourist Town is an upcoming animated film about island misfits who are tired of the tourists, so they blow up the bridge! Written and produced by local screenwriter Amber Nolan, this “first look” fundraising event includes a live staged reading of the “Tourist Town” film script by local comedians, a behind-the-scenes look at the animation process, and even more comedy acts! Plus, raffle prizes and a silent auction! This film project was the recipient of the Anne Mckee Artist’s Fund, The Key West Arts Council Grant, and the Pentimenti Emerging Filmmakers Award. A portion of ticket sales goes toward remaining production costs of the film.
